These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to all putter fittings, consultations, events, recommendations, and related services provided by The Putting Blueprint ("we," "us," or "our"). By booking, purchasing, or participating in a fitting, you agree to these Terms.
1. Our Services
The Putting Blueprint provides independent, golfer-focused putter fitting and educational services. We may evaluate factors such as your:
Setup and alignment
Grip style and grip pressure
Tempo and timing
Impact position
Stroke path and face control
Putter length, loft, lie, balance, and other specifications
Personal preferences, comfort, and performance tendencies
Our goal is to help you understand your personal putting profile and the putter characteristics that may suit it.
2. Brand Independence
The Putting Blueprint is a brand-independent fitting service. Unless we expressly state otherwise, we are not the exclusive fitter, employee, or agent of any golf equipment manufacturer.
We may demonstrate or compare products from multiple manufacturers. The display of a brand name or product does not imply sponsorship, endorsement, partnership, or responsibility by that manufacturer unless specifically disclosed.
Our recommendations are based on professional judgment, available equipment, fitting observations, and the information you provide. We do not guarantee that every manufacturer or putter model will be available at every appointment.
3. Educational Nature of Recommendations
A fitting provides an assessment and recommendation based on your performance and conditions at the time of the session. Your results may change due to practice, physical condition, injury, technique, equipment changes, green conditions, or other factors.
Recommendations represent professional opinions, not guarantees. You remain responsible for deciding whether to purchase, modify, or use any equipment. We do not guarantee:
A particular scoring improvement or handicap reduction
That you will hole a particular number of putts
That a recommended putter will remain suitable indefinitely
That another retailer or manufacturer will reproduce specifications exactly
That every product meeting a recommended profile will perform identically
4. Booking and Payment
Appointments are subject to availability and are confirmed only after you receive a booking confirmation.
The fitting fee and any required deposit will be disclosed when you book. Unless otherwise stated, payment is due at the time specified during booking or no later than the start of the fitting.
You are responsible for providing accurate contact, scheduling, and payment information. Applicable taxes may be added where required.
5. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
You may cancel or reschedule your appointment without a cancellation charge by providing more than four hours' notice before the scheduled start time.
If you cancel or request to reschedule four hours or less before the scheduled start time, you will be charged the full fitting fee.
If you do not attend your appointment and have not provided more than four hours' notice, you will be considered a no-show and charged the full fitting fee.
For clarity, notice must be received more than four hours before the appointment. Notice provided exactly four hours before the scheduled start time does not qualify for a fee-free cancellation or rescheduling.
Cancellations and rescheduling requests must be submitted through [booking platform, email address, or phone number]. The time we receive the request determines whether it falls within the cancellation period.
We may waive a charge at our discretion in a documented emergency, but we are not obligated to do so. Nothing in this policy limits any cancellation or refund rights that cannot legally be waived.
6. Late Arrivals
Please arrive on time. If you arrive late, we may shorten the fitting so later appointments are not disrupted. A shortened session caused by late arrival does not entitle you to a partial refund.
If your delay prevents us from reasonably completing the fitting, we may treat the appointment as a late cancellation or no-show and charge the full fitting fee.
7. Cancellations by The Putting Blueprint
We may cancel or reschedule a fitting because of illness, severe weather, unsafe conditions, equipment failure, venue restrictions, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
If we cancel and cannot provide a suitable alternative, any fitting fee you paid for the affected appointment will be refunded. Except where prohibited by law, our responsibility is limited to the amount paid for that appointment, and we are not responsible for related travel, lodging, lost time, or other incidental expenses.
8. Participant Responsibilities
You agree to:
Provide accurate information about your putting, equipment, physical limitations, and relevant injuries.
Follow reasonable safety and venue instructions.
Use equipment only as directed.
Behave respectfully toward staff, venue personnel, and other participants.
Avoid participating while impaired by alcohol, drugs, or any condition that makes participation unsafe.
We may end a session without a refund if your behavior is unsafe, abusive, disruptive, or damaging to property.
9. Health and Safety
Golf instruction and equipment testing involve physical movement and may involve risks such as strain, aggravation of an existing condition, slipping, falling, or accidental contact with equipment.
You are responsible for deciding whether you are physically able to participate. Stop immediately and notify the fitter if you experience pain, dizziness, or discomfort. Consult a qualified healthcare professional before participating if you have an injury, medical condition, or concern about your ability to take part safely.
10. Equipment Use and Damage
You must handle demonstration equipment with reasonable care and follow all instructions. You may be responsible, to the extent permitted by law, for loss or damage caused by intentional misconduct, misuse, or negligence.
We are not responsible for ordinary wear, hidden defects, or equipment failure that is not caused by you.
11. Purchases, Orders, and Third-Party Products
Unless expressly included in writing, the fitting fee does not include a putter or other equipment.
Products purchased from a manufacturer, retailer, golf shop, or other third party are governed by that seller's pricing, availability, warranty, return, shipping, and customization policies. The Putting Blueprint is not responsible for third-party manufacturing defects, delays, substitutions, repairs, warranties, or order errors unless we are the seller of record.
Custom-built, altered, engraved, or specially ordered products may be final sale, subject to applicable law and the disclosed sales terms.
12. Intellectual Property
The Putting Blueprint name, logo, fitting materials, assessment methods, written reports, graphics, and website content are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
You may use your personal fitting report for your own equipment selection and development. You may not reproduce, sell, publish, teach, distribute, or commercially exploit our proprietary materials without written permission.
Third-party trademarks and brand names belong to their respective owners.
13. Photos, Video, and Testimonials
We will not use your identifiable image, video, fitting data, or testimonial for advertising without your permission, except for incidental venue security footage or as otherwise permitted by law.
If we request promotional consent, it will be presented separately and may be declined without affecting your fitting.
14. Privacy
We may collect information required to manage bookings, process payments, communicate with you, conduct your fitting, and maintain your putting profile.
Our collection and use of personal information are governed by our Privacy Policy. Payment information may be processed by third-party providers under their own terms and privacy policies.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Putting Blueprint will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from a fitting, recommendation, equipment purchase, or use of third-party products.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for a claim relating to a fitting will not exceed the amount you paid us for the service giving rise to that claim.
These limitations do not exclude liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded, including liability resulting from gross negligence, willful misconduct, or other non-waivable rights.
16. No Waiver of Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Terms limits rights or remedies available to you under applicable consumer-protection law that cannot be waived by contract.
17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of [State], without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in [County, State], unless applicable law requires another forum.
18. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. The version in effect when you book will generally govern that appointment unless a change is required by law. The current version will be posted with its effective date.
19. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.
20. Entire Agreement
These Terms, your booking confirmation, any applicable sales terms, and our Privacy Policy form the agreement between you and The Putting Blueprint concerning the services described.
